Both Linkk and Megaduct are sandwich-type busbar trunking systems that meet IEC 61439-1 and -6, with KEMA, ASTA and UL test certification. The differences lie in heritage, cross-section, and the project profiles each is optimised for.
Megaduct — the engineered standard
Megaduct has been the regional standard since 1992. The LMC and P1 series sandwich-type platforms cover totally enclosed, naturally cooled distribution from low-rise commercial to high-rise residential and hospital projects. Copper or aluminium conductors, IP40 to IP66, fire-retardant per IEC 60331.
Linkk — flexible procurement
Linkk pairs equivalent technical performance with a procurement profile geared toward fast project turn-around: wider stock holding, shorter lead times for standard ratings, and a configuration menu suited to value-engineered specifications.
How to choose
On a flagship tower with consultant-driven specifications, Megaduct's LMC or P1 series is usually the clear answer. On an industrial plant or fast-track commercial fit-out where the priority is delivery date, Linkk often wins. On most projects we'll spec both side-by-side and let the technical evaluation decide.
